Default PIGZ multi threaded gzip binary working!!

Ok so guys I just unpacked the TWRP recovery image. Extracted the busybox and binaries to /sbin and pigz is working AMAZING!!

So is this a new recovery image you have compiled? a modified version of twrp? if so you have a link?

No the binary is already in the recovery image I just extracted it and can run it through terminal command. .. Too busy to link sorry. Xmas madness

cool. I'm doing rom dumps with "romdump", "rkdump" and "dd" tools. The system.img and user.img files are large. I like to gzip them in terminal or adb. The toolbox and busybox gzip are slow and use only %20-%25 of available cpu power. The device has 4 cores.

Please upload the pigz gzip file and put the download link here. Thanks.

for everyone else put in /system/bin or xbin and set owner root/shell

is there any benchmark or simple compare with original gzip?
