Is it possible? When I read stuff in bed which is a bad idea the screen is damaging my eyes even with -5.

Thanks

That app puts a filter on the screen. has a minor battery drain as it runs on the background.

A better way to do this is by modifying the firmware to reduce brightness levels beyond the factory designated point. It was possible in S2 and Galaxy S. But the same method doesnt work for Galaxy Note 2 or Note 3. Firmwares and files are now a lot more different.
