Default Verizon lgg2- bother getting replacement (gps)

Love my g2- but have the issue with gps not locking or locating (I can locate via wifi-but in a car can't use navigation.

Has anyone had gps issue (Verizon) and gotten it fixed with a new one? Or is it an inherent problem with the lgg2.

Thx

Have you tried GPS Status & Toolbox? Seems to do the trick, does take a few minutes to get lock but after its solid (under Tools --> Manage GPS State, you need to hit download)

So I used gps test- and yeah, it took a long time (like 5minutes) but now gps works. Thanks. Seems I have to do this after each reboot though. No?
