So I have been dirty flashing the nightlies and have had no problems at all.

Now that CM had gone with the unified build I Sam wondering if dirty flashing is okay when going to the unified build for the first time.

I know the whole nandroid backup routine just wanted to see of anyone had done this...

Sorry to post here as a new user I am locked out of the Dev thread.

Be carefull
I would suggest to switch back to DALVIK before doing this! I've had several problems upgrading to Generic build on the XT897. It only takes two additional steps, but better safe than sorry.

Switch back to DALVIK, upgrade, let it boot and after successfull boot swtich back to ART if you want to.
