Default about to root and recovery quick ??

Ok so about to root my vzq g2 currently have 11A software installed was looking for a little help on the method to install recovery

planning to root using
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2448887

then install twrp using

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2449670

then load one of these as the custom rom after making back up

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2524683

Is this correct or is there a different method I should you to install recovery ?

Correct mate although this http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2584938 is much easier, but its really good to know the manual method too. Most important thing is to MAKE A BACKUP in twrp before wiping. You'll thank yourself later on. The most common question on this site is ... 'How do I restore stock?' Anyway, have fun!
