Using the latest kies3 you can select update and initialize . You have to input your model number (in caps) and serial number. Kies will then take over and it is returned to factory state. I just did this twice so to be sure I could get back to stock.

did it worked after both resets? do you have now the "official" status and no more "modified" status?
thanks

My suggestion is to flash the latest firmware for your tablet, get it from Sammobile, make sure it's for the correct model (SM-P905) unless you have a Verizon SM-P905V. If you have one from Verizon, do not flash or root, you will brick it.

If your tablet is not a Verizon model, then you can flash using Odin 3.07. You might as well root it and flash every available firmware update via Odin instead of waiting for OTA. I use Wanam Exposed to change my wifi tablet to Official instead of Custom after root.

Tried the Cellular South version on Sammobile. Full wipe and install via Odin 3.09. Seems snappier to me. Reinstalled all my apps. Leaving it unrooted for now.
