I have a stock, unrooted v500. My 4.4 update arrived OTA and is waiting for me to install it. What is the best way to do this?

Should I back up first? Should I clear cache first? Should I remove the SD card first? Should I do a factory reset after?

Any tips?

Thanks.

I suggest you unmount sd card and remove it before you update to kit Kat . Many users including me are having sd card unmount issues where the sd card unmount itself automatically sometimes on kit Kat 4.4.2. To fix this I have to reboot the device. My G Pad is never rooted. And is using Stock kit Kat 4.4.2 update from LG.

Just in case I always do factory reset after.
