Default Moto X Kernel Works on Droid Maxx

Probably known around here, but, this Moto X kernel works on Droid Maxx, all phone functions still work too, like active display ect. The dev isn't updating it but the source is available , for those of you like me who build your own.

Faux123 has a current kernel also with back ported features, active display works but you need to completely remove the Aon.apk / Aon.odex from the /priv-app folder and re download from the Play Store.

One thing I noticed with either custom kernel is active display is not as "active" , but does still function and for performance I did not have any better or worse functionality as far as gaming / benchmarking / battery life with either custom kernel.

Your active display is working? I just flashed it and I'm not getting a working active display.

Uninstall and reinstall the active display app

Please note, I do not do ROM support via PM. If you have a question, ask in the device thread. Thanks.

That worked. Thanks! Did you by any chance use the recommended settings for the Moto X?

The ability to tweak a custom kernel to squeeze every ounce of performance and battery life out of the device, as well as features such as fastcharge which are made available by a custom kernel.
