help!! my touch dual won work!!

hey folks need a hand !! need a little hand my touch dual isnt work it seems to be frozen on the start up screen where it reads windows mobile but it wont go any further than that !! when i try to connect it to my pc, my pc shows that active sync is reading it but it will then flash up briefly that the phone is locked and i have to unlock it to link it tomy computer!! ive tried everything i can think of at the moment !! can anyone please shed some light as to what may be wrong with my phone !! much appreciated in advance !!

hard reset it, see the manual how to do that.
youll loose all your information and contacts (that are not in the Sd card) but at least it'll boot.
