Default Bluetooth Audio Headset, Quality Improvement

Hi,
I post there some cab for people who love listening music and have a bluetooth headset.

So here 3 files

96k / 96000Hz is the highest quality. For me no prob with that, audio is really nice, but they drain a little be more the battery and use more ressource.
So for listing music in best quality bluetooth could support, use this one.

64k / 48000Hz is normal quality. Battery drain a little be less than 96hz and ressource is better. Quality of music is a little bit worst.

48k / 48000Hz is low quality. It's nice for ressource and battery, but sound is now the best. For music lover, I'm not sure they want that.

Just for knowledge, by default, bluetooth on most rom is set to this :
30k / 44100 Hz ... So sound is metallic, music is not really good, but ressource and battery is on top. I hate this default value !

Have fun, and please, share it for all !

This may sound like a strange request but,

Could you include a cab for setting it back to default?

I totally love that someone has made this (is it a registry hack?) into a easy to use cab,

I'm not sure how much battery will be lossed on the higher quality, Because say when i'm running with my bluetooth headphones, they don't' sound very good to begin with and because i'm working out I don't really care about the quality, but my phone lasting the whole workout (with gps and everything else running too)

Also I wanted to ask if this (48000hz) is refering to the radio transmission or the music? correct me if I'm wrong but i thought CDs were at 44100hz and DV or DVD was at 48000hz. But if this is the bluetooth radio freq then that would make sense.

Thanks for the help man!

(if i recall wasn't this in advance config? but in the new versions I couldn't find the option anymore

Hi man,

Yeah, 48000hz is bandwith use for music. So you can use it with high quality audio.
96000 is really high (too much, but I feel a difference with 64k 48000hz ... so I prefer it)
I just make cab from advice on forum, but after long test (more a month !), I'm pretty sure it's a value link to bandwitch. so more you have, better it is, hard is to provide it for the phone.

For setting back to default, just remove the cab in "Remove Program" under system.

In Advanced Config, maximum set is 48000hz, but you can use any value you want for bitrate !

Of course! I'm using Blackstone Miri V18, and it's working like a charm ! In fact, it should work on every windows mobile out there !

Most of headset can keep 2 days non stop ... so, no it doesn't drain more battery on headset I'm sure.

It's only for pda, pda use more power to send better quality. we can't have butter and butter money

I confirm "96000hz" is the "Taux d'échantillonage" or Sample Rate

Thanks
