Default No Network Access?

Hey

My phone was working perfectly fine until about 1pm today when I lost all reception. I was using my O2 sim while the number was ported over to Vodafone.

I assumed the number had been ported so popped in the Vodafone SIM only to find I had no reception on it either.

I tried to connect manually and got the message "Your SIM does not allow a connection to this network".

It's the same when trying to connect to O2 on the O2 SIM.

Any idea what's wrong? A few people seem to have encountered this issue.

Default i work for cpw

Hi pal,

i work for cpw in the uk.

during a number port from o2 to vodafone, there is a downtime while you will be without service on the number port day.

number ports are completed from 9am till 6pm usually on vodafone.

as vodafone no longer support the allocation of temporary numbers, while you are waiting for you number to port over. this is the reason you are without service.

put your vodafone sim into your desire.. and switch the phone on and off every 30mins or so you should gain service soon.

hope this helps

dan
