[MM_Theme] [06/23/10] Dark Elegance v.03 for CM_5.0.8

Hey guys this is my first go so take it easy on a fella...Anyway first and foremost I would like to thank Conap for his awesome version of the Cyanogen Mod and of course Jedipottsy for giving me permission to port and mod his original concept and cacheinjection and djosiah for making the original Elegance theme, which was wildly popular in the G1/G2 community. Also I would like to thank jdh2001 for answering so many questions for me. So without any further grandstanding here's what we got....




90% or more of the framework has been themed (Still looking for the xml that controls the sub menu button color if anyone wants to help a fella out.)

The majority of the core apps and their corresponding notifications have been themed along with several changes that suited my personal taste. I have also themed the ADWLauncher...Thanks Andrew Web.

Remember after applying the theme to change the clock, notification colors etc to something visible and to your liking via SpareParts.

If there is enough interest I will keep supporting and updating this theme so please provide input.

**Note this theme should work with White Widow, CyanogenEris and Darchstar(basically any CM based MDPI ROM should you want to try it. Please drop a reply and let me know.**

That dialer would be kick ass in EE 3, wonder if I can just put that in, I'll have to play around with it.

I dont know if it will work or not the theme is based completely on Cyanogen Vanilla rom...

That's cool, I looked into it and couldn't figure it out anyway. EE is the first rom I tried, just got into rooting recently.

Haha ... thanks man glad you like it...Im just a fan of the flat look vs the gloss and bubble etc...v.03 is already in the works. So long as a dev supports this rom I will keep updating the theme and working on new stuff.

Lol yup seems a like that was a hundred years ago lol, Jedipottsy was very gracious and I think or at least hope that I did the original justice and made it a bit more current...I hope to have the last bit of framework edited and the last of the stock apps themed by the begining of next week. I also plan on releasing an auxillary icon pack for a lot of the popular market apps that can be applied via better cut. Thanks for the comment...So when we going to see your version of CM drop?

im actually upping it for a tester as i type this..

end of week we should have something for the community to enjoy

Matte is sooooooo much nicer than gloss!

EDIT: I'm having a problem with the zip. Any help?
