Lock Phone on demand

Hello and sorry for my english

Is there a way to lock the HD2 only on demand. If I use the lock screen with password, integrated in windows mobile, i have to type the password always when the display turn off, well the lock screen is activated. But i like to lock my phone with password only on demand. For example with a shortcut on my Home Screen. Otherwise i like to use the normal lock screen without password entry.

Good idea. Can't say I've come across such a thing but I too would be interested.
