[Q] HTC Desire A PC49120

Hi all,

Anyone seen this phone before? The HTC Desire A (PC49120). Want to know what's the difference with the normal one. It's sold in Mexico by Iusacell.
The device supports WCDMA bands II and V, GSM/EDGE 850 and 1900 and also sports Wi-Fi b/g and Bluetooth.

That looks like a HTC Wildfire to me, A low end budget device

Hmm strange, they announce it like Desire A and the Wildfire is PC49100. Maybe an upgraded wildfire?

there dosent seem to be much on the internet about it, except its an unamed HTC device that went to the FCC in june 2010, so its not a new device.

I guess not, could be a wildfire. As far as I remember it was a lot smaller then my Galaxy S (122mm) and the Desire has 119mm, but the Wildfire just 106mm.
And on google there isn't a lot of information.

May also be a downgraded WF. Here (google translated) is an article introducing the incredible and the desire a. What is missing in the feature list for the desire a is gps. As it is explicitly listed for the incredible this 'might' mean the desire a does not have it.

Hello people does anybody know where i can get a screen for this phone , Its has been hard for me to find it here in mexico city, i checked ebay but there is some that say "desire z" is it the same as the "a" version... thanks in advance
