It's very buggy and laggy for me. I'll touch a menu and next thing you know it, i'm 4 menus away from what I tried to do.

I had menu problems also, but found it was a conflict between mkh sms and fingermenu. After I added mkh as an exclusion on fingermenu, my problems vanished.

I started using MKH SMS yesterday. Version 1.1b is surprisingly good...an excellent app in fact. It does have a few glitches but not many and is very usable and intuitive.

Was 1.2 ever released? I cannot find anything on the web (except this XDA thread).

Thanks. My Russian is a little rusty (nyet, da and sputnik doesn't get one too far) but perhaps Google Chrome's translation capabilities will be useful. Will check it out tonight.

it said "MKH software MKH SMS" cannot be installed. To try installing to a different location, chose a location" but it fails for SD card and phone memory. Weird.

How did you get around this error?
I am getting the same error.

I went to the site to get the 1.1beta, but I get a 404 error when I download. Can you direct me to a working link?

Check post #9 (page 1) on this thread, I uploaded an installer that does not have this problem.

Yeah, that's one of the few bugs. Do not close using the "X", close it by pressing the back arrow (in the top left corner) until the application exits. Then restarting works fine.
