Error installing Custom Recovery

Guys, I am quite puzzled with my custom recovery installation. Ive reached to step 6 from tech mania

which is:

6. flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-RA-GNM-thunderg-1.1.0.img

It showed error sd card not found.

Result is that I cant install ROM now. Please rectify my mistake. Thank you.

Still have no clue after going through tons of read-up...

1) in pc CMD, it gives device not found
2) in terminal emulator, it gives me flash_imageL not found once reach the step of "flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-RA-GNM-thunderg-1.1.0.img"

gosh, need help. Goin to bounce it off the nearest wall.

Change ur sd and try.
Type the commands thru terminal emulator on phone itself.

changed sd card from a friend and type in terminal emulator failed as well. Tried it before. Headache.

Have you unzipped the files?
