Galaxy S 4G Confirmed root!

I was able to get root on the Galaxy S 4G this morning via SuperOneClickRoot .

I used the Rage option, then once done, rebooted the phone and verified root using "Root Checker" from the Market.

Sweet, this means we will be able to flash ROMs as they are released for the phone. Can't wait to get mine after school.

I have connected as stated but I continue to get SuperOneClick not responding and "waiting on device". Any suggestions??

Make sure that USB debugging is enabled! If that doesn't work, download the Samsung USB drivers - they can be found in the Vibrant threads.

I'm planning on getting this today to, but will the Z4Root method work to root this phone?

Not sure, but would be nice to have someone try it so we have all bases covered!

Z4root didn't work on my 2.2 official update so I doubt it'll work on 2.2.1.
