Why don't we just leave it how it is, and let people upgrade their radio if they think it's necessary? Another ROM build would just waste storage space and bandwidth, not to mention confuse users, which leads to more needless threads and more time spent by the gurus answering questions that never should have been asked in the first place.
Let's try to keep this simple.
