Arrow Stock 2.2.1 vs custom roms

Just a little poll about personal opinions.

For overall smoothness and best battery life:

"Do you prefer stock 2.2.1 and a custom kernel, or custom rom? "

Custom ALLLLLLL the way! Sammy roms are just slow and unoptimised.

I used a lot of Darky roms but now I'm trying Serendipity and I have to say it is soooo much faster!

Darky/ doc and most custom rom are in my opinion way faster and smoother than stock froyo.

Good battery. No lag. Very smooth. Cant even compare to stock.

In the span of 2 weeks since I bought my sgs I've used Sammy 2.1, then Sammy 2.2, then seaArms, Darkymod and finally Doc's ROM.

The Sammy rom's are crap. They are slow, and have horrible battery usage.

Of the customs roms I've used Doc's is my favorite because of the level of personal customization. My rom ended up being just over 150MB. I saw the best battery usage with seaArms though.

Default 2.2.1 is doing good

not 2.2, that was horrible but 2.2.1 is stable, fast and very good battery.

I love the 2.2.1 Kitchen with Hardcore's kernel. Fast, up-to-date and excellent battery life.
