I find it a bit odd since here are only dozen of people who has commented this latest release. I guess this isn't so popular ROM for some reason. I don't mean that this is bad rom, I find this very good rom actually. But then again, I don't quite see a lot difference in JVK roms anyhow.

Keep up the good work!

Great work!

Finally my Galaxy S as it should be. Great speed.
I prefer launcher pro.
Just curious. How hard is it to replace the phone/contacts app in case you don't want to have the touchwiz versions?

Simple matter of replacing the apk's I think. I used to prefer launcher pro, but the theming features of ADW won it for me.

Rom development is put on hold/finished because I sold the Galaxy S. I may get a new one, it all depends on how the Arc is. Then on May 1st, Galaxy S 2!!

thanks!

to, bad, i found out that my modem is not working with the JVK version so I had to switch to stock JVB version.

When I boot up after installing JVB the phone will ask me what version of the carrier service I want to use, swedish or norwegian (my carrier is swedish tele2).
After installing any JVK version this option is missing and 3G/GPRS data connection is dead!

How can I port this ROM to be based on JVB (official gingerbread 2.3.3) version instead?
Do I need any source codes?
Seems this guy has done something like that:

Have you tried doing a factory reset on JVK, because that part of the menu is usually in the 1st boot setup thingy... And it should be the same.

As for porting the rom, its something I wanted to do, but JVB seems no different to me. I won't be able to port it because I cannot test it. But you could test it, if you wanted, but you would need backups!!
