Default [Q] S-OFF Hboot 1.01

Ok I read through lots of threads and so far no one was able to answer me clearly.
My question is:
can I root/ downgrade then root my Wildfire with Hboot 1.01 and S-OFF?

Note: Even though I made the OTA upgrade, the phone was default S-OFF, therefore I think I don't need the XTC Clip anymore. Correct me if I'm wrong.

BTW: What's best RoM for wildfire? Cyano? Wildpuzzle? Or w/e. Looking forward to overclocking as well.

Thank you

yes you can, but read the threads about Touchscreen not working after downgrade because this is what happened to me.

basically you should downgrade to some WWE version 1.37 (or 1.35 I dont remember). Just avoid 1.14 as this is what caused the screen not to work.

If you use unrevoked 3.22 and have issued with CID, you may want to look for unrevoked 3.2-test instead.

Thats the same case which i had so here is the help and its working 100% , BTW i am on Cyanogen Mod 7.0.2 (Gingerbread) Overclocked To 729MHZ (STABLE)

First Of All Use This Guide

Code:
http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=10150159028430882&comments
After this, u will notice that touch panel is not working but it downgrades ur Hboot

so follow these steps to make ur panel work.

Code:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13328654&postcount=2
After this, ur panel will be working perfectly and u will be downgraded, just use the unrevoked version

Here is the download link for Unrevoked:
Code:
http://www.multiupload.com/K6RAGILSS3
You will be rooted , then u can use any custom ROM u want easily

Hope it helped u..

Ok I understood and completed the first part with success.
Panel not working as you said and now i need to follow the instructions here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...54&postcount=2. But I dont understand, does he refer to the actual C\Windows\Temp? Or some folder on the SDcard or phone?

He is referring to the actual windows temp directory, go to

Start > Run > Type "%temp%" Without quotes and u will be in the temp directory

Ok but I am unable to find the rom.zip in the temp folder, I have cleared it and runed the RUU buzz 137 but nothing new appears into the temp folder, just stays empty.
