Default [Q] Root using GingerBreak 1.2: it's possible?

Does Gingerbreak 1.2 work on our Galaxy SII?
I have seen on youtube that someone has done it successful!
Why I did'nt find any 3D in this regard?
You know, I trust only of the xda team!
Thanks

So what about GingerBreak? Isn't that supposed to be able to root the SGS2? No. GingerBreak was able to root a number of engineering samples of the SGS2, but it does NOT work on retail devices.
