Use AutoKiller Memory Manavement. Its not a normal task killer and doesn't run in the background but u can use it to kill apps if u want. Leave the settings at default if your using WBs ROM but u can click the processes tab at the top to see a list of running apps and just click one to kill it.

How can I switch from xrecovery to freexperiarecovery? I want to flash a custom kernel. (First time I booted into recovery was FXR but 2nd time was xrecovery.)

Default Curious about accessing xrecovery in [Cyanogen6.1.3]gingerbread[v01]

I tried rebooting my phone in recovery, but still it won't bring me to the recovery menu. I am already in [Cyanogen6.1.3]gingerbread[v01] rom... What would be the best thing to do?

My best guess would be to use flashtool to reinstall xrecovery.

Check System> Bin and make sure the chargemon, busybox & XRecovery.tar files are there, if they are then XRec will work. Never try and install a recovery if its already installed.

If its installed and still won't work use Doomlords reboot to recovery script and see if that will get you into it.
