Use HTCustom 1.6, click the UI tab and select "Battery" under Clock Display. Thats it.

this not working..yes it will show the batter in the top bar but without the %remaining..

OK I lied...I said that I wont work to improve this plugin anymore after the tabsetting patch but I cannot help myself from wanting the brightness shortcut to work so here we go.

This is to be used with HTC Home with Tabsetting CAB from me(...and the variant ofcourse that install in HTCHome)

1. Copy HTCUti1.dll to your windows directory.
2. Copy and overwrite the old HTCHome.dll in the HTCHome directory.

This will enable the Brighness Shortcut found on Launcher TAB.

Note: If your Brighness shortcuts already working that means that you already have the latest HTCUtil.dll and you do not need this patch. I do not integrate this into the original cab because not everybody have this problem. Well, I just rename the new HTCUtil.dll to HTCUti1.dll and patch the HTCHome.dll to call this new dll. Result is your brightness shortcut will work and your original HTCUtil.dll is not tempered with. This is the safest way to do it.
