Objective:
I am creating this reference guide in the hope to help people fix their G2x flashing issues. I also hope that this will help stop all these type of questions from the development threads.

Procedure:
(On these steps follow the links and read the instructions before asking questions please.) Feel free to omit any step you want if you do not want to go all the way back to stock.

Following these 4 steps will return your phone to factory condition.

If any step failed for you:

  • You probably didn't follow the directions exactly.
  • You probably have a bad USB Cable.
  • You probably have an over loaded USB chipset/hub in your PC. Try another PC.

UnRooting a G2x that is fully stock - Only Rooted
I'm trying to unroot my stock G2x so I can mail it back to T-Mo any ideas on how. The SuperOneClick does not give me the option to unroot.

Thanks in advance!

Don't remember the version but there is one of the oneclickroot that only unroots and allows non market apps. Doesn't have unroot method on it.
