Camera not loading

Hi everybody, if someone could help me solving this issue, after upgrading to WM6, both cameras on my Herm100 did not work. (i even made a videocall to my other phone #, my Herm100 did receive the video but transmitted nothing)
the ugrade i used is the one one xda-developers: HTC_TyTN_ITA_3[1].54.258.2_102_6275_1.47.00.10_108.exe, following the procedures i've been reading on this site. I appreciate your work here and hope you could help me with this issue

can you use the back camera to take normal pictures?

no, both cameras not working, i checked if the file camera.exe is missing but it's in the windows directory, the registry seems ok, when i exec the file camera.exe nothing happens.

I have the same problem. It only appeared a week ago while I've been using Schaps 3.54b for couple of weeks now. My back camera is working after a soft reset, but both cameras go blind after starting a video call. The camera application loads okay but the screen is totally black except for the options and other HUD. If I push the on-screen button to go to picture gallery and close it then the back camera starts working again.

I just would like to get my video calling working again. It worked with this rom originally but now something has happened and I haven't installed many applications. Any ideas?

i guess my problem is in the software, both cameras wont work, not only the front one, neither the back one works, is it clear now?

I would try:
1. HR
2. installing a new ROM.
3. repair...

-HR does nothing since it did not work after installing a new ROM
-installing a new ROM could help, i did it indeed, the one that worked had a green screen in camera and i did not like it
-no repair is needed since it works
any other help, maybe some camera software to download?
-I copied files for camera from another working device but I could not replace the files in mine cause the files are READONLY, any suggestions?
I really appreciate your efforts, maybe my english is so bad that i did not explain it from the beginning.

this happened to me when i upgraded to wm6, both cameras would not work ie nothing happened when I pressed the camera button or the icon, anyway after hrs of messing around it still was`nt working, so I had enough and just left the phone switched off till the next day....So next day came I tried the phone again and to my suprise the camera now works I did nothing to it but leave it switched off till the next day, now someone tell me what thats all about. not had a problem since
