How to check do you have all needed drivers?
1. Check is phone visible in FlashTool after upgrade and before root process. 2. In command prompt type command adb devices
If response is:
List of devices attached
and not :
List of devices attached
device ?????????????????????
Then you need to upgrade drivers.
Drivers UpGrade
Plug phone and in Control Panel / System / Device Manager remove semc drivers. UnPlug / RePlug phone it will start search for new drivers if you have follow first red typed text it should find new drivers and install them. And phone should be visible with FlashTool.

LAST WARNING FOR ALL PEOPLE --- DO NOT USE OPTIMIZE FUNCTION IN FLASHTOOL AFTER UPGRADE. BECOUSE OPTIMIZE FUNCTION USES PRE-BUILD BUILD.PROP FILE FROM ANDROID 2.1 AND IT WILL BREAK YOUR OS BOOTING. BUT IF YOU HAVE INSTALL XRECOVERY AND THEN DONE OPTIMIZE U CAN TRY USE THIS >> FlashTool_Optimize_FiX_xRecovery << OR un-tested method using batch script >> FlashTool_Optimize_FiX_Manual <<.
