Hi friends. I am realy noob and a noob question. "Kernal Downgrade" and Kernal Ungrade" or zip files. How I can make them FTF file to flash. or someone kind enough to post FTF file for both. Thank you.

EDIT: OK Doom explained one of his answers that some upload sites changed the extention from FTF to ZIP. So I renamed and its ok now.

so, can anyone explain is it safe for me to start unlocking bootloader?
Yes, you are good to go, use the semc batch file.

You can NOT use this if it DOES say "not recognised"!!

Follow the link in the OP.
They are already .ftf files.
Place them in the firmware folder in flashtool and they will appear when you press flash in flashtool

Default Bootloop + sdcard failures

Well, I got a succesful unlocking bootloader but after having flashed the upgrade kernel Iīm stuck with SE logo and a bootloop.

In Xrecovery I get mount failures when trying to recover backup or flash zip files:

E: canīt mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 (or /dev/block/mmcblk0)
(Device or resource busy)
E: Canīt mount /sdcard

Well, Iīm kinda stuck there, not being able to flash in any way. Any suggestions on how to solve this 'knot'?

Flash a 2.3.3 firmware from flashtool then reboot.

After reboot and you cleared the setup wizard (or closed it), then turn off your phone and flash the kernel for root and recovery.

1st, you can do this safely. Use the semc bat

2nd, simply follow the steps on first post EXACTLY, then you don't have to reflash everything.

If it's not locked, then you are ready to go.
There are two methods really, one is to go back to 2.1, root then unlock.
Another one is to use azuzu's kernel downgrade/upgrade to do it.

If you think you are a noob, then I'll recommend you to use the 2.1 method, as you won't be horrified when your phone gets stuck at the white SE text.

Once unlocked, flash back to 2.3, let it boot, then flash one of the rooting kernels from DooMLoRD, xRecovery is included and you can flash custom roms.

thanks for your answers.

i really do not want to flash a custom kernel. if i simply downgrade, unlock the bootloader, then upgrade, will that not be ok?

must i flash doom's kernel or any other one?

im thinking if all i have to do is root again, i dont mind at all
