The official battery is "made in China". If you are not happy with it, try operate your phone without a battery.

i have used this battery myself. why it seems to drain faster despite its stated 2000mah, i haven't blown my phone yet. maybe you're unlucky, but then again, its what the lower QC causes for a cheaper price anyway i guess

Never ever get a Li-Ion battery from an unknown source. Especially if they are very cheap. Commonly they don't have the announced capacity (ink is cheap -- battery not). Consumer usually don't have the means to confirm the stated capacity.

But the worst thing is, that sloppy QC can lead to all sorts of problem -- just type 'exploded li ion battery' into google and look at the pictures.

This doesn't mean it has to be a battery from samsung only -- but from a reputable source.

same problem to me...
my nexus s sound problem when using this battery...
but when i put back my original samsung battery come out good sound...
after a month i try to use it...finally my nexus s totally no sound at all when using this battery...

OMG, that is sad.
