Are you using 1.9.16? I'm able to rename without a problem. Maybe do a complete wipe and re-flash.

I did a complete wipe and flashed 1.9.16, and there are no APNs listed in there. Any idea on how I can add those myself?

I can't power down my phone. Even when I choose it from the menu, all it does is restart my phone. Any ideas?

Take the battery out? I don't have a problem with it on my phone, try a wipe and reflash. I do notice, and I'm not sure if it's because of the hardware, or the ROM, but if I have it plugged in and try to turn it off, it will turn back on.

Can someone explain why basic ringtones have been taken out of this rom? I for one do not like using musical ringtones. Even the notifications have been redone. I don't like this.

Oh, and another thing, how do I translate that Chinese or Japanese wording into English when looking at the online ringers and sections?

This is a chinese rom, and it's only available in English because there are some kind gents over at miui.us that made up an english language pack. It's not perfect or fully translated, but it's getting there. As for the ringtones, that did change sometime recently, and it just seems that whoever packages the ROM for all the devices, stopped replacing the MIUI tones, with Sense/stock Android tones. It's easy enough to push the tones to "/system/media/audio" with adb. That's where alarms/notifications/ringtones/ui sounds are kept
