So I own a HTC Glacier (MT4G) with VU 2.39, is it best for me to use the virtuous governor on wake? Or is it best to use on demand and just set the max frequency to 2GHz, and put conservative on sleep and max the frequency to around 200MHz, to achieve the best battery life when the screen is off?

Also would under volting -25 on all frequency affect battery life by a lot or is it almost not noticable?
I don't run virtuous, and haven't really read up on the virtuous governor. What i can tell you is that every phone/cpu is diffrent and you will have to decide what is best for you. Some guidelines i can give you is this. Don't set the sleep max to low as this will keep your phone awake longer and thus use more battery. Don't set your wake max to high as this might make your phone unstable. You will have to check what is best. Google diffrent governor and read up on how they are diffrent.

Just for interest sake. This is my highspeed profile.
Wake governor = ondemand
Wake min = 122Mhz
Wake max = 1.6Ghz
Sleep governor = conservative
Sleep min = 122Mhz
Sleep max = 480Mhz

My honest opinion is that undervolting saves so little battery that you will probably not notice it at all as the phone usage changes every day. I actuly use vdd to up some voltages to make my phone more stable.

Hope that helps.
Cheers.

Hi to all, I have a DHD with ARHD 6.1.1 installed + v6 supercharger and klquicksall kernel v.5+daemon controller installed in Rom for oc. I 've tried undervolting slightly my phone but it didn 't work. I 've tried: All -25 temp activate=everything working fine, rebooted and everything fine. I 've tried the same values: All -25,perm activate = phone freezed...... I had to restore from nandroid..... I attach my values without being touched, maybe I cannot undervolt more?

Sent from my DHD running ARHD Sense 3.0

Are you sure you haven't undervolted -50 by accident? The profile would have been saved even if you rebooted and pressing -25 again would cause it to go to -50.

How one goes about using this on RCMix3d Runny ROMS, as no daemon is included in the ROM itself, as I noticed ... simply use this without flashing daemon?

Virtuous ROMs had virtuos_oc, so I am little confused.

Tnx in advance for assistance.

Regards,
Hi mate,no mistake. I tried temp activate without rebooting (all -25),everything fine. Tried giving directly perm activate, everything fine. Waited 5 min and rebooted. Phone worked for 5 min, then freezed. I had to restore the nandroid again

Hi,

I am using RCMix3d Runny v1.5 with default kernel. (Andrevoc included in ROM)
I used your app to undervolt it. After I reboot the phone, your app stated that andrevoc is not running.. I can't get it to run anymore after a reboot. I tried changing kernel but no go.
So is this problem rom related or app related? Is there a way to solve it?

P.S: Thanks for your hard work for this great app.
