What's on the csc file? Is it just Optus apps and branding?

I think KI3 drains my phone battery more.
I am with vodafone, and ever since I flashed it, it seems to drain more. I dunno..... Anyone else having this problem?

As far as I know it's the Optus apps and settings.

Everything seemed to work ok b4 I installed the Optus csc but I put it on mainly to keep navigon software.
Not sure if it was a coincidence but I got a nice upgrade of navigon from the market once I updated to KI8.

KI3 is definitely better than the current official Vodafone firmware for me.

New Android convert, after 4 years on iOS. Got my phone through Telstra on the $59 cap. Loving the phone so far, now to read up on rooting and see if I need/want to do it. Bought myself a jig in case I ever need it, which I most likely will as I can't help myself and will eventually flash the phone.
This site is a huge pool of information, I know where to go if I ever need tips, or get myself into trouble.

I'm on Vodafone using 2.3.5 and KI3, with 4 bars of signal using 3g the fastest i could possibly get was 110kbps which is absolutely shocking.

I do not understand why the performance is so rubbish.

Anyone have any ideas?

Ah well, I'm in near the Sydney CBD area and thought i might get some better speeds than that.

I guess i will have to live with it, i thought there might be something wrong!

Just wondering how much everyones battery drains over night in roughly 8hrs?

With wifi off mine uses about 6% - 7%, is this bad or more average?

Over night with data off, mine drains 2% every night. I'm on insanity ii (based on CM7) with UV as well.

When I was on custom ROMs I usually drained 5% a night with data off, so 6-7% isn't too bad. It really depends on how you use your phone and what apps you have running in the background and also periodically updating.
