[Q] help with update from 3.0.xxx.145 to 4.0.xxx.368

Hi all,

Ive been starting a few threads around here trying to figure out why my Arc wont get Cell signal in CM7.

I have narrowed it down to trying to install CM7 with Build .145

There is a note somewhere that you need to have .368 installed to get GSM signal to work, but i cant seem to get FLASHTOOL to recongnize my phone in FlashMode.
I have gone through the FLASHTOOL thread and nothing seems to help.

Can someone possibly add me to GTalk or give me some other guidance to fix my issue with FLASHTOOL??


EDIT: Well it turns out im just an IDIOT!! haha. I was trying to hold the Menu button when i should have been holding the Back Button...
Got 4.0 FW now and currently installing CM7 again to see if its fixed.

Hi,

I experienced the same thing as you but it is really not working. Somehow, my XP laptop will show "SEMC Flash Drive" detected and hang right after that. So there is no way I can use flashtool at all.

I just installed CM7 on my ARC too and I don't have mobile signal. Do you think I can use fastboot instead to flash the baseband or build?
