Yeah, hitting home works and takes me to my screens and everything...the phone doesn't actually freeze. I just can make phone calls cause the phone thinks its calling. When I pull the status bar down (like any phone call) there is an hangup option but it doesn't respond when I press it. If I go to the dialer and try to call someone else, its unable to place call.

I've never had this 'pin option' come up before nor heard of it.

yeah ive had this happen since i flashed the rom about 15 times over the course of a week. Sometimes it happens when i hangup, sometimes it happens when i loose signal during a call. Nothing I do except a restart fixes the "Phantom Call" issue for me.

Default battery on v2.2

viper,
when i first booted 2.2 i did not charge all the way. i just flashed v2 after full wipe and then 2.1 and 2.2 then rebooted. used TB to reinstall all apps and configured google and 4 email accounts. battery was at roughly 68% so i left it for the night to see what would happen. it woke me at 4:50am est with a low battery 15% DING! i turned it off and plugged it in. unplugged it at 85% and messed with it some. plugged it back in and unplugged it again at 99% around 9:30 am. Im now at 6 hrs 37 min on battery with pretty heavy usage and 78% battery. im happy with that but maybe its not typical. you guys would have a better idea than me. i like it man great job. thanks.

On v.2.1?

Thanks for letting me know, I will test out ondemand tomorrow!
Yes I had good battery life on v.2.1 yesterday but today my battery was bad. I put in a furnace so reception probably sucked. Almost drained my battery. Some themes don't even show you that you have LOS. I was even using Tasker but it didn't help. I wonder if I should start over and reflash? I'm on v.2.1 now.

Actually now I think about it I probably had LOS when I left my house which I have good reception.

Alright Mr. Viper..

I finally decided to give the ROM a shot, I had been on Starburst since it was first released. The rom flashed fine, no errors or anything and booted up without any issues as well. I love the boot animation, don't ever change that. The rom is very responsive and I like that you already had most of the BS apps that I delete removed. The only thing I did was extract TouchWiz from a previous Starburst Rom I had downloaded and pushed it to use as the default launcher. I have nothing against Go Launcher, but as far as smoothness goes, I felt the stock launcher had the upper hand.

The script, very nice touch. I enjoy controlling the processor, and have always used SetCPU, but this is a nice and unique little touch your Rom has. I love that you can set it through Terminal Emulator and it is incredibly easy to use. This was my first time every trying to figure it out, and it took no time at all. I do enjoy looking at an actual GUI, but one less app is one less app.

Battery life - I have been running this rom since last night, and it seems to be doing fine on battery life. I have been texting, making a few calls and browsing the web a little bit and I am still sitting fine at 86%.

Overall, very nice rom and I look forward to future development on it.

Edit - Just realized you could restore TouchWiz through VC. Nice.

Did you calibrate your battery after flashing the update? Also, if your phone is constantly searching for service, it will drain your battery like a mofo.

My battery life was great one day with v.2.1 and bad the next day. I understand the battery drain when searching for a signal but I think I had LOS before I even left my house. This is kinda more pain then what it's worth. Not saying it's the Rom because I like the Rom.
