I absolutely love this Rom, I'm running rls1 non god mode and have only had one small issue so far, which is sometimes after the lockscreen it takes about 5 seconds to load everything up, but that happens very rarely, thank you for such an amazing Rom!

Maybe you could try wiping your caches. That might speed things up a bit.
Please go to Menu then Settings and look though those options. It's there. Possibly someone would be able to tell you exactly because I can't at the moment. (I really didn't want to make a sad face but the smiley expressions are rather limited.)
Edit: Try Menu > Settings > SD & PhoneStorage, I think it is.
Vanessa,
I am not arguing with you please understand that.
Just to update you, I do not have a format sd card option in this rom. All that is available in sd card is total space, available space, unmount sd card, Erase sd card (greyed out) vailable space internal storage nd factory data reset.
Update: Been reading alot of scary stuff ( how funny its holloween) on my situation suggesting bad nand blocks, heat related damage, and the like.
I am not so sure this is true for me because nand restores are fine (restored phone from nand back to burnt droid 1-4-2 and it booted up just fine.
I did notice on this phone while looking at things that the superuser icon has a green android not the black and white android with bones crossed like on my phone. Also it says that the superuser binary is out of date.
Could this have any bering on the situation - HHMMMMM> Anyone????

I didn't say we were arguing...lol. Just trying to help and I tried to tell you how to format your card via the phone and left some instructions. I'm not sure if you looked yet.
Welp, its been fun but i think i may have to jump ship. Me phone is lagging out really bad, i can not use any of the kernels for this rom, my batt life sucks bad - from the time of power unplug and with only about 10 min internet usage in a 3 hour time period my batt is down to 55%.

NO, I know - I just don't want to upset you - I don't want you to think I am not grateful not not listening to your excellent help.
I have looked through the settings on my phone numerous times and elsewhere. I can't find anywhere that says format sd card even though numerous references say it should be there. I think I am blind besides being slow.
Because of this I have read about bootcamp to launch windows on my MAC to format through your other suggestion. I need to set this up.
I have also read about sd formatter for MAC and windows - so that may be an option.
Believe me I appreciate your help and that of others - I need it.
I am searching and have been searching all night and day. I can't seem to find anything with my exact circumstances. I find many that are close - but most of the solutions are to get a new phone. That's why I want to use your and gman's suggestions to format the sd card on my phone and start afresh.
Since I don't have that option on my phone or I am too dumb to find it I guess I need to go the PC or mac route.
I just want to make sure I get the correct format - IE FAT32 what blocksize? Error Corrections? etc.
Once again I have read your posts numerous times because I am slow. I just have been unsuccessful finding the option on the phone.
GOOBERTIME - Thanks for the response - if I use this unmount option, will the option to format the sd card also appear???

I beleive the "erase SD card" is the only way to remove everything from your SD card, I'm not sure if that formats it or not, even synergy doesn't have a format card setting, just erase SD card I beleive...

Ageesm and goobertime thanks you are both correct.
Sorry for replying a little late.
I (being slow) went to the user manual and yep - right there on page 72 are the instructions plain as day.
Sorry Vanessa - never doubted you just didn't know that unmount sd card was the deal.
I think I am going to head out and get a new sd card or two to do the formatting for my wife's evo. This way I will be able to work on getting synergy RLS1 loaded on her EVO without putting undo stress on her currently working sd card She is currently running Burnt droid.
I will format the new cards on my EVO running Synergy RLS1 as Vanessa suggested. This seems like a great idea. Then transfer a ready to rock and roll sd card into the other EVO with all the files ready to flash and reboot.
Will update this progression after heading out to the store.

Thanks to all and thanks buttons hit
Sorry I couldn't give you better info but I was in the right ballpark... Lol
Thanks to Ageesm and goobertime for coming through and giving you better info. Being without the phone, I was sort of going by memory which sucks.. Lol.
The 3D has sort of the same options but the ASOP rom I'm running doesn't have the traditional setup options so I couldn't even verify.
You'll get this stuff worked out. It just takes a little troubleshooting and patience.
