Default Rubberish surface

Also I have allways wanted to try Plasti Dip on my phone too, after I once saw THIS MOD done to a xbox controller.
I think that, a little bit of sanding and after that apply the spray to the phone's backing, the phone would look and feel awesome! I just have been too lazy to try it out because the spray isn't available in our local hardware stores.

I read the mod link, and I would love to do it to the battery cover to start with. I am using a case because the phone slips easily from my hand without my Case Mate Barely There matte case. But if the battery cover is dipped in that coating, it may be grippy enough to use with case...

Who needs a case when you can have a diy matte black sgs2. no more scratches or fingerprints. Simply unscrewed the back bezel, remove it and got some sandpaper to do the job!

Done!

I didn't remove the back though as I wanted the bezel side done as well, worked well. I used a new kitchen scouring pad and lightly buffed off many times.
