Hi all,

I had a password lock (that appears when the phone is started and you can't go past this lock without out password) activated on my htc viva, that I forgot. Now I want to hard reset my viva. Since I am unable to go any further, I can't use "clear storage" option. And the procedure to Hard Reset is NOT working, although I am doing the Hard Reset procedure correctly. Any help to would be more than appreciated!!! Thanks

Try to reset your phone use stylus then push red button remove battery cover then hold answer and end call then you will see how to hard reset the phone. Hope that will work.

Thanks for your advice, but I have already tried to Hard Reset the device a number of times but it seems it simply ignores it. Anyway to bypass the password screen?

it seems u need to flash a rom of ur choice from SD card. u need to rename the .nbh file to OPALIMG.nbh. try this http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=541289.
