Have you used Eclipse as well? If so... any pros & cons to each?

Well as u can see by my signature I am a huge supporter/user of eclipse

I haven't flashed nitros newest creation (1.3rc2) yet but I hear good things
I went from eclipse 1.2(official) to this liberty build.
The only.problem I have had with eclipse(and I haven't seen anyone else really mention it) was very very low gljellyfish scores on smartbench 2011. Which was also noticeable when watching Netflix movies I would get BAD pixilation(blurry) during ANY type of action scenes and sometimes during calm scenes.
Its a weird little bug...sometimes it wouldn't show itself until a day or two after flashing. Which makes me think its something I did somewhere but I hadn't done any edits or tweaks or anything. Just kinda happened.
not a huge bug but it bothered me. Since almost every time I thought it was fixed it would come back lol

This liberty build is great tho. So far my only problem is root browser(comes included w/ liberty rom) keeps force closing on me. I'm gonna reflash the rom tho as I haven't seen anyone else mention this.
performance is phenomenal on both roms. But I haven't seen the little bug I mentioned above on liberty at all. And it seems the edits to build.prop that come in liberty are helping with video performance and picture taking.
It also has a nice amount.of customization features. U can change lockscreen, add/swap certain apps like music, gallery, message app etc...
And one.of the features I am ecstatic about is the screen shot button added to the power button menu. Very cool to be able to take a screenie at various points. Just long press power button and choose screen shot. Very neat.

I recommend highly that u check it out. I think u will enjoy it

I just tried both current versions of Liberty and Eclipse and I have to say, they're both very impressive. Oddly enough, right out of the box, Eclipse did feel a bit snappier. Liberty felt a bit slower but that may have been part of the settings. It seemed to use some sort of fading effect with the windows which makes the windows seem slower to me IMO. I'll admit I'm not a fan of that style of animation and it could have been configured in the settings but I didn't spend much time with it.

I posted a question in the Q/A thread about a problem I had with Eclipse however, it appears I have the same exact problem with Liberty too so I'm not sure if its a problem local to myself or something with the ROM itself.

Ultimately, both are still usable and much better than stock. Since this is the first ROM I'm running on my DX2 and in fact, the first versions of both, I have to say, I'm completely impressed with the speed and animations.

What's the problem you're having? If it's Wifi stuff the instructions I received for SBF'ing worked quite smoothly.

I did an sbf at work today. Not sure why everyone says it takes so long. My laggy and underpowered workstation did it in about 8min from start click to pass. Not an hour.

If it is someone's first sbf, and they don't have fast internet, getting all the files/programs set up and downloaded can take a while. And some people count the time it takes to reinstall all their apps

But I get what you're saying
Either way im waiting for quad-core (with a separate 5th "low power" core) 4g, super amoled 1080i screen, unlocked bootloader, global, waterproof, 2gb ram, ICS(4.4.4), 32GB on board, 4ghz phone(as long asrun i can overclock the piss out of it) LOL.
Till then I think my x2 will suffice
for that price you might as well throw in a fold out litter box with a deep fryer and a dishwasher...
