basically it has to "wrap" the usbd funcitons

when the battery is completely discharged and i plug my phone into the charger, it boots and it charges but phone is hanging on moto boot logo.

mostly the binary guys

recently i discover that the droid X has our graphic chip and similar processor (omap 36xx, our is omap3430)...

based on this:

which is supposed to enable the 720 playback (and recording), but i will talk about the playback...

so for the playback, the needed files are the dsp ones and the libOMX* ones...

so if someone is feeling adventurous, make the nandroid and do the tests

when i have time, i will do it myself (but honestly did not know when i will have the time )

anyway, the first try imho should be using dsp and libOMX from etiher stock eclair, either from the stock froyo motoroi...

next attempt will be (more dangerous) to use the dsp and the libOMX from the above mentioned link...

next attempt (not so straightforward) is to use again the same files, but not just to replace the current ones, but to use them when building ....

p.s. took me some time to figure it out, the codename of the dorid x is shadow, hence the corresponding github is :

i will keep an eye on it (mostly because of the same powervr 530 graphic chip), actually we can "steal" the media-profiles.xml from there

(but be careful, as wrong media-profiles.xml, can cause trouble with booting (read phone will not boot )

workaround for the brightness is to it settings unchecked (e.g. defaults), then it will loop through all the possible values

sorry, but as i am perfectly ok with the workaround, will focus on most important "bugs" and missing features...

and honestly, i think that this is not just my mind. e.g. if there is some workaround, the priority will be low....

Maybe it's possible and more easy to port camera record from JY Daddy's ROM ?

For now.. i think we can say that build not an rc...
We know bugs, we fixing it, but rom already usable... so why not? =)

Ok, thank you for all your work, I think i will wait a little more to test the ROM because of hd recording but you already make a lot of wonderful thinks for our phone.
