That's a really nice finish, makes me drool. But after you removed all of the brown stuff, can the aluminium not get miscolored or something?
@OP
take a look at the following post

He's used chemicals like ferric chloride so that the brushed aluminium doesnt get scratched. Maybe you could also do so and post the pics so that amateurs like could also do so.
Thanks keep it up mate.
now i have a question!
a friend of mine has a thing you can powder-coated in any color this would be great but the aluminum gets up to 200C hot. I dont know if thats to hot for that aluminium...???
and the other question is what color should i choose?? he has nearly all of'em....
any ideas?
It really looks stylish, we already did much PC casemodding, but it's good to see that it's also coming up for smartphones, many will follow your decision to casemod their phones.
Do you all that equipment at home, or a workplace of a company or something?
I've got some connections with a company were i can make stickers or engrave stuff. But i also have a large workplace at school were i can make almost everything
And...! Even better idea!
I'm going to try something!
I will try to remake the plastic parts on the back of the phone. I'm going to make them digital in solidworks. Then i will engrave moulds out of aluminum and fill them with liquid plastic. So i can make my own plastic parts in pretty much every color i want!
If this is going to be a succes i will put them online for sale for a very nice price I'm thinking about a modding service for phones
