Man this is slow....but it looks amazing . I'd love any recommendations for getting it to run faster/smoother. SetCPU is installed and set for Smartass v2 768/352. Also haven't tried the TweakZ.zip (that's next )

I also go the random offset error. I flashed, rebooted, stalled out, rebooted to recovery, wiped and reflashed and got a completely different offset error. Doesn't appear it's making any difference however.

Data and SMS are working. Have yet to try MMS.

No notification sound as well. Ringtone selection *can* result in FC. I got to pressing tones too fast and it hung.

Keyboard is missing keys as well. Haven't tried the fix yet. Will work on that after TweakZ.zip

Phone calls work and phone rings on incoming calls.

I'll keep using it over the weekend, but may have to flash back during the week. Great job getting this running on the Hero! THANKS!!

edit - I got the notion to make sure notifications were set to use the same volume as the ringer. Since ICS appears to force this, I attempted to change notification tones. None of the tones I tried actually played. I noticed the same thing with ringers, but at least the default will play in the ringtone chooser.

Okay, had to revert to TeamHeroc but it was fun loading a new ROM for the first time in over a month.

Another bug I noticed was I couldn't get my corperate email/calendar/contacts to load. It was able to add the account and it showed that they sync'd, but I had nothing from my corperate account in the calendar or email.

The Hero got GB on Christmas day, and ICS on the day after Thanksgiving.

I found a workaround for the notification tones. I've been using Zedge from the market for a while and had some notification tones on my SD card from my previous ROM. I reinstalled Zedge, recovered my downloads, and set a notification tone. Tested and it works.

If you don't use an app like Zedge, you may try setting an MP3 or other audio file as your Notification tone. Not sure if it will work and haven't been able to test that yet. Might be worth a shot however.

I installed only two zip files; TeamICS-4.0.1-25NOV-HeroC.zip and gapps-ics-4.0.1-small.zip
No tweak or setCPU.

speed is fine. I think speed will be improved definitely as dev do.

Installed gapps and ROM, but I can't seem to navigate into the Mobile Network Settings. I keep having to FC Activity Network Settings, which is preventing me from getting data. Any help?

EDIT - I'm also getting "Random offset: 0x214" when I install.

Boots fine but I seem to have no radio at all, flashed twice same outcome? WiFi works fine but no cellular signal for either voice or data.

Hmmm? I've ran it twice been using it just to text and call those worked nicely. Also installed es file and setcpu made things ran normally. Only main issue i had was the google maps version didn't show the map
