hello

here is full working omnia 7 retail unbranded rom working on focus (all working as on focus) rev 1.3 and it can be updated to 7740 see picture

1. flash it as other focus roms
2. make Chevron unlock
3. install Interop Unlock by Heathcliff74 v2.xap
4. add your language to registry by WP7RootTools 0.7 alpha.xap
5. update to mango 7720
6. Dial ##634# to install the latest Samsung Diagnosis app.
7. In the Diagnosis app dial: *#9908#
8. Select "Heathcliff74 Interop Unlock"
9. Tap "Save", tap "Close" and exit the Diagnosis app.
10. now you have mango 7720 unlockd
11. install diff-7.10.7720.68-7.10.7740.16-armv7-retail-microsoft.pks_2cb1bfdd82133914239b8ee1a78e61e9000d12.cab by cab sender
12. after done you have 7740 omnia 7 rom unbranded in your language

report bugs please

camera settings copy to phone and copy it to windows by wp7 root tools with this rom you can copy files to "\windows" by root tools in mango

Awesome! You are my hero :) Waiting for your tutorial and that rom. By the way what languages are in this rom, is it for europe?

Great, any hints how to flash it, just like the other focus roms or need to be special way?

Question, cant we just update with Zune from this point? Do we need to do it with every each post-mango update ?

Well, updated my Samsung Focus successfullym thanks for the guide!

ps. do you have complete camera settings in your czech language? because in PL i can see only 3 icons for flash led.

in first post copy it to phone by wp7 root tools with this rom you can copy files to "\windows" by root tools in mango

Bug: Motion API is missing, compass apps wont work, and other apps too like SkyMap for instance.

If I do not need an unlocked phone, can I use just the Update Tool and the continnue on with Zune? Thanks.

I don't mean to sound like a complete noob coming from android and completely new to windows os but I am... What is the purpose of this rom? What will it change from my already mango focus?

I didn't. Momentarily I'm quite busy and didn't have time to check it out, but it should be better than the AT&T rom. However, you should do this only if you understand what you're doing, being curious or unhappy with your current setup isn't enough. Expect a few things to possibly go wrong as this is a hack.

As long as you understand all these, you're fine.

Remember to make a backup before trying any of these and copy it to a safe location!

This rom hasnt drivers for Motion API as I said before, this is the main reason I reverted back to Rogers. I like apps like SkyMap, and Compass, these wont work on this rom, this is big fault imho. I was hopping that the OP will comment this, but he is like gone or something.

    The OP's radio version seems the old one from regular Roms.
    My frankenbuild ( Omnia7 forced updates through Zune commands) looks like this:
    OS: 7720.68 (7740 only patches two outlook issues- BUT broke the marketplace locales for me)
    FW rev no:2124.11.9.4
    HRN :3.1.0.7
    Radio software: 2124.11.9.3
    ......
    Bootloader: 5.9.2.2

    OP has radio 2103.10.11.2

    What are the regular values from an UNTOUCHED ATT/Rogers rom?

    It seems that these values are standard Rogers update values...so all the Mambo Jumbo FW flashing is reverted...

    OS version: 7.10.7720.68
    Firmware revision number: 2103.11.8.1
    Hardware revision number: 3.1.0.7
    Radio software version: 2103.11.8.1
    Radio hardware version: 0.0.0.3
    Bootloader version: 5.8.0.2
    Chip SOC version: 0.36.2.0

    Afaik AT&T didn't release 7740 yet. Or at least I didn't get it.
