Pick anything you want in the modem and kernel department, just flash the KF2 modem from telstra and keep it handy, or make yourself a modem zip file so you can get going from CWM...

Its the one that always works, with a 9100T and an optus sim.
Vodaphone sim seem more flexible...

I have Omega Rom 7.0 loaded today, sort of had to.... I flashed all the the new T modems with no results... No 3G - Sometimes no signal at all.
Got to the stage where I gave up...again...
And I went from Omega 4.0 to 7.0 with the KF2 and it works.. just as fast as a stock I9100 XSA branded phone with an optus sim.

Or go Telstra prepaid...
