Well, any way to turn off the weather background or just remove the "Dock Mode" app altogether?

You know my basic reasoning by now: no matter how obscure the feature, if it gets left in the ROM, it needs to work. If it doesn't work, it needs to be taken out. It's like the reverse of "easter eggs" . Maybe we should call them "landmines" .. ; )

yup go into dock mode press the menu button and then press wallpaper and choose on of your liking
