will this work on a 32a magic? would I still have to do the custom mtd thing?

Just flashed this on my Mytouch(Sapphire) after a day or two...(got frustrated and then realized I was trying to flash CWM Recov for the Magic )

So far so good, this is amazing and only the 1st Alpha!

Installed setcpu only to find out that superuser doesnt work. The ex kernel menttioned a couple pages back does enable wifi, however Google services keeps stopping now.

I tried to install it several times, but it wouldn't boot. Found out that /system/bin is completely empty, while zip file has files in it.

Any idea why it wouldn't write the files to the phone?

make sure your mtd is good and that "system" is mounted in "mounts and storage" in clockwork BEFORE YOU FLASH!!!

Jc, are you still working on this? Bugs and such?

I've flashed the ROM through CWM and it worked without any problems!
I have even run the ACID3 test (stock browser of course ) and you know what? 100/100! CM7 (on my Ace) on every browser possible always gets 95/100 (and I really mean EVERY browser).
It looks that it is pretty much worth of waiting. It will be amazing moment when fully functional, smooth ICS ROM for Dream will come out

Some questions:
1. Is there any other way to turn off the phone than pulling the battery out of it?
2. Can I lock the screen without waiting?
3. Should the screen rotation work only the IT wants to? It rotated only one time for me, worked for some time in portrait mode and now orientation is stuck in landscape.

Really old G1 gets better ROMs than fresh, the best mid-range phone: Galaxy Ace.

What's the progress with this ROM? When can we expect another release?
Although I'm not a developer, nor do I have much programming skills...If there's anything(else) I can help with to get a quicker 2nd release out, please do let me know. I really want to see this thing running on our G1's!!!
