Ok, how exactly do I join? I can see a donate option, but how exactly does that get me the file? Can someone elaborate before I spend money? Also, my phone isn't interop unlocked, so will this still work?

once you donate via the donate button, make a note of the transaction number you will receive with the donation. You need to join his board. PM and/or email Schaps with your transaction number and tell him you contributed to participate in his beta program for touchexperience. He will soon send you the link of the beta forum (locked for guests) and you have access to the download link. You need your transaction number to activate WPDM once you installed it.

Aight since the info is about as easy to find as a needle in a haystack, I have 2 questions.

One, does the file explorer work on an Interop Locked HTC Arrive (since no unlock exist for the device so far)? I mainly want to backup my SMS .vol before doing a system wipe do to memory/slowdown issues.

Also, for the Registry Editor, does it or does it not, need interop unlock to be used? If not then I will be all over this donation business in a jiffy as all I want is registry and file explorer access. (Looks like it needs interop unlock unless something fancy changed in 1.7 (doubt it). So as long as my first request works, that will be good enough for me.)

I'm registered and I donate, so today I go and download WPM 1.7 and it doesn't install something about ANSI:some B.S., whatever so I switch the display language to Spanish and it installed with out a hitch. So I run it as administrator and it installed touchexperince to my phone with no issues at all so I'm like yeah this is perfect until I get to the point where I want to browse my folders but can't, there is nothing in the "My Documents" folder at all the only thing I can see is stuff under "Windows" which is perfect because all I want to do is make custom Alerts. Well as luck would have it didn't work it won't let me copy the custom alert to the Windows directory and over right the old one, it just says it can; so I reboot my phone and now it doesn't work at all, it gives me an error that says "NullRefrenceException" WTF? is that? Please help.

would be helpful if you posted what device you have. WPDM works best on HTC devices and there are severe limitations on anything else. You can create a folder Ringtones under My Documents and your ringtones should show up (the ones you may have installed yourself). No access to the Windows folder is possible at the moment for most devices. He is working on a fix. I also suggest you post your problems in Schaps WPDM 1.7 beta thread.

Hi derausgewanderte, Yes I have posted this very same question on the touchexperience form but I decided to as around for different advise. I have an HTC Trophy (U.S.) Mango 7220 dev unlocked, interop unlocked. Thanks, any advise will be appreciated.
