Default tzones 5.99 :)

I received my gnex yesterday and im using the epc apn. I notice speed test are mucher higher on epc versus internet2 apn. The only issue i have is that my mms ( picture messages) from others are pretty blurry. Besides that its a great jump from nexus one to gnex.

I purchased my gnex at clove technology (UK) for a little over $700.

It is kind of fun, thinking about the upgrade.

I finally pulled the trigger after my brother assured me he would be happy to make full use of my N1. Coming from an iPhone, I was not so sure. But he's on the oldschool 3g, running EDGE on T-Mobile, so I think he'll be happy.

Plus he gets 3 regular batteries, 1 mega 4000mah battery, 3 cases to choose from, etc. etc. etc.

I might have to keep my 16gb microSD card though =P

Oh man. I've been using the $9.99 data plan on my Nexus One (using the internet2.voicestream.com APN) and just assumed I'd be SOL with my next purchase. I pretty much planned to switch over to Verizon (against my moral code) for the LTE Galaxy Nexus.

But now that I know I could import a GSM Galaxy Nexus, keep my cheap data plan, and get full "4G" data speeds, the calculations are churning in my head and I'm starting to wonder if I should go that route.

Hmmmmmm.

Anyway, thanks for the field research

Exactly what I have been thinking. I have 2 issues that stop me from pulling the trigger...
1- Confirmation from more people that it "really" does work
2- Not sure I can justify paying that much $ for a phone...

hi guys,

for those that web2go/tzone works with the galaxy nexus - what speed are you getting? 4G (HSPDA) or 3G speed only?

Thanks.

Have you ever been blocked by Tmobile when using that epc apn? I used it for the longest time, then I got the dreaded message on my phone. Now I switched to voicestream one and speeds seem the same on my Nexus One.

It is not the best quality. But I don't really care...I suppose it is a rare thing to get mms's for me. I hardly get them. But , yeah, it's blurry.
