Welcome to


CM7ite HD2 ROM


This time I present you a small AOSP CM7 rom based on the EuroSkank CM7 Bravo build (credits to Fuzz_ and all people involved)

I have tried to make this rom as small, clean, stable and fast as possible.



Key Features (changelog in 2nd post, bugs & fixes 3rd post) :

- android 2.3.7 (GWK74)
- based on cm-7.2.0-RC1-bravo-KANG-03042012 (Fuzz_)
- fikret HD2: 2.6.35.14 - r2.16 kernel (fhasovic)
- tytung GPS libraries 2.1
- liblights with autobrightness, custom b/l levels, blinking notifications (milaq)
- framework & system apps are odexed for more speed and space.
- only 110 mb system partition is needed so you have enough free data space.
- hacked 2.3.6 market
- Multilanguage
- All in one cLK/Magldr bootloader concept (e334)
- default dpi is set to 192
- removed tts languages for more space
- removed more apps which can be downloaded of the market
- added PropModder (free)

You can use the latest HD2 NAND Toolkit to install bootloader/recovery and repartition.

Recommendations before and after installation :

- Backup your apps and settings with Titanium backup and do a clean installation for best performance. (wipe everything beforehand in recovery)
- Default CPU speed and governor = 245-998 Mhz Interactive. Set your favorite speed and governor in 'CPU settings' on 1st boot.
- After setting up your phone consider doing a reboot for better performance.
- If you want to use A2SD download Link2SD of the market and set it up.
- be aware of your system partition size and make sure you have enough space when installing all kinds of 3rd party system apps !

- Replaced ADW launcher for modified AOSP Stock Launcher. (get your favourite launcher of the market)

- Added old market and some Google stuff which can't be downloaded of the market

- Removed dictionaries from the keyboard to safe space

- Compressed and optimised all framework files and system apps

- Added & replaced non battery draining email.apk and mms.apk without the blurry pictures
- Added Redux2 camera.apk, because the included one was crashing while changing front/back.
