I'm not quite sure what you mean by "search bar and the menu button" but second post might have what you're looking for.

It seems that super wipe full is impossible to create, since you can't format /data partition if superwipe script is on data/media. It gives I/O error. So the only way to format data partition is to use mkfs.ext4 with ./tmp/mkfs.ext4 -b 4096 /dev/block/platform/omap/omap_hsmmc.0/by-name/userdata command. We are working on some solution.

OK either I'm being incredibly dumb or something isn't right. I downloaded the rom, I'm all backed up titanium and cwm. Just went to install the rom choosing install zip from SD and hit power assuming that power is select button as volume up / down changes selection. So I hit power to install the rom from SD but when ever I press power button on cwm it just turns off the screen. Would anybody care to enlighten me please?

I'm a little worried about his roms. I suggested a fix for a typo on the first page, and found that it's on all his rom listings. He still hasn't fixed it.

You would think a developer would be on it like stink on noop. Then again, I'm an Engineer, so maybe I have high expectations.

If I down-rate all of his roms, can I change that later once it's fixed?

A typo is just a simple mistake and I'm sure nothing to worry about. Pointing out little errors like these the devs is helpful to devs, it can be very easy to over look spelling mistakes and my spelling is awful at the best of times when it comes to typing on the PC lol

Although iv never used one of mikes roms before I don't see anything to be worried about, he has a history of developing for loads of devices most of which are HTC.

Anyway I was after a little help with my question posted above your post, if you have any ideas suggestions I'd vr grateful.

calling noop "no op" and away from cfq, is serious business in the scheduling world.

Sir, why did you make that change? Oh, because racecar. (pun very much intended).

Also you said he's an HTC developer. Intersting, I've seen this on other manu roms he has.

Again, just asking a simple question here!

2. I copy-past a lot of info from my threads, so most of the typos are doubled, tripled, etc., not a problem for me since I'm a lawyer and don't care about that typo, in my work I have already a lot of typos to be aware of. I guess high-penis engineers (sorry, should I write it with capital "E"?) have much more free time to care about ****s.

3. I'm not obligated to fix anything just because you spotted a typo in my thread. You think different? oh well... I feel sorry for you then.

4. And finally if you are worried about my ROM... don't flash it Don't visit this thread, don't post here and don't troll here. Such a smart-ass you are? We're all waiting for ROM from you then.
well said mike, I for one really appreciate what you do for us

The problem is that you moved up or down to many times and power button is disabled. Move up the whole menu 2-3 time and power button will be working again.

Oh yeah! Not saying he's not putting the best out.

However, what tools are you using to quantify that noop is the best over the other i/o schedulers. Just curious what your test set is. You did quote me, after all!

Not trolling, looking for cold hard facts. I'll get a GN when it's through VZ, and very curious why people are doing the different things here. If it does warrant a different thread, then so be it. If you can't contribute, then don't reply.

rawr!
