Im running 10 days straight with not even one pass lost, before the 10 days, I get the pass lost 5-10 times in a day.

I dont change a single cable in my installation, same router, same config, etc.

Same axim rom.

Its just a bug, that present ocassionally, and dont know why, suppose in certain situations, the router ask the pass again, and the axim cant answer
will5, I am not claiming that a problem does not exist with WPA and I think that it is great if LennySh has something available that might make it easier for folks that are suffering from any problems. I am merely suggesting that problems could be router related. You said that you have always used the same router... might I suggest that you verify that it has the latest firmware update and, if it does, try another router if possible?

will5, if you revert to WM5 A12, do you also have those WPA issues or does it always work properly?

Just a thought out of the blue, Routers assign an address on a lease, the lease renews on a preset basis. Generally speaking the lease is supposed to renew with the same IP address, but that does not always happen for some unknown reason. protocols such as WPA pass along a token based on certain variables. It could be that it is not the password, but the token that is being rejected due to a change in a variable. The account would have to be recreated to generate a new token.

Not that any of this is of the slightest value in coming up with a solution. I haven't been a programmer for the last 3 decades so I wouldn't even have a starting point for writing a fix

Just few words to let you know that it's ongoing, It has now trueVGA embedded. And I plan to do it the same way I did the WM6 A00 FR private rom.

Original thread here.

Current status is:

Rom A06 privß06a "Antik" & privß06p "Pure":

WM6.1 Classic - CE OS 5.2.19199 (Build 19199.1.0.2) with "4.8 MB Pagepool"

Based on Ranju's v7.4 Universal rom

And includes the following

-- NetCF 3.5
-- SQLCE 3.5
-- BT FTP explorer
-- Softkey Applet
-- TCPMP 0.72 with subtitle support and YouTube support (Subtitle support for SMI in video "Intel 2700G" mode and not in "Intel 2700G Decoder" mode)

nota: You can also use the new Subtitle plugin , just put subs.plg under \windows and go to tcpmp settings, subtitles to activate the plugin, It's great because it can run under "Intel 2700G Decoder" mode with higher performance than the older one. Thanks will5

-- PIE 6 with hi-res support for "Antik", PIE 6.1 with zoom for "Pure" and YouTube plugin
-- DF's PIM Backup 2.8
-- PocketRAR 3.71
-- PIE cache (temp, cockies & history) relocated to the root (\IE Cache)
-- Windows Live 10.6.33.0600
-- aximsite wireless switcher
-- x51v Mix
-- ozVGA and WM6.1 trueVGA dlls & applet
-- Mortscript 4.1

with following registry tricks:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\ObjectStore\RegistryType =0 , (file based registry)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Navigation\"4-Way Nav"=0
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\FATFS\Cac heSize=0
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\FATFS\Ena bleCache=0x1(1)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Filters\f sreplxfilt\ReplStoreCacheSize=0
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GDI\GLYPHCACHE\limit=327 68
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\Tcpip\Parms\TcpWindowSize= 98304

thanks HappyMM, for your explanation on the registry.

Béta005, download link.

Thanks wllw for Mirroring WM6.1 Classic Beta005 | WM6.1 Classic Beta005 | WM6.1 Classic Beta005

"Antik" Béta06a, download link.

"Pure" Béta06p, download link.

You can use Paveld PPeditor if you want to change PagePool and generate a new crc file. (Thanks Paveld & wllw from 4pda)
So, could anyone reference me to the respective instalation procedure to this rom?
I have a X51v with A04 brazilian WM5 rom... would I need to change the bootloader from my device? (I mean, to make it appear English or something)

thanks, never done nothing alike and I'm really interested in upgrading to WM6...

makuu, if you want, Ill try wm5 12.

I was using wm5 A04 (the last one in spanish) and don't have any wpa bug.

the wpa bug was introduced in wm6, and partially fixed. In WM6 A03 football, wpa doent work at all without the partially fix.

Its the same for all x51v, doesnt matter language, just search how to turn on your pocket in flash mode, and just put the 2 rom files in an sd card.

Maybe looking at the partially wpa cab fix for wm6 football A03, could see what really patch, and the way it does, that could help improve the fix
